Missouri State University

FY2012-2013
GOHN WOOD/HASS HOOVER

Gohn-Wood House would provide a permanent home for Missouri State Universitys growing Academic Outreach program on the West Plains campus, housing classrooms in which bachelors and masters degree programs from Missouri State University in Springfield could be offered.
Hass-Hoover Hall would house the Student Advisement and Academic Support (SAAS) Center and the William and Virginia Darr Honors Program, increasing the space for SAAS mediated learning laboratory and providing space for tutoring, group study, administrative offices, a small meeting room and a community room. In addition, moving SAAS to a new facility would free up much needed space in the library.
The completion of Phase I of the Facilities Reutilization Plan (FREUP) continues to be the Universitys highest capital priority.
