INTERMODAL TRANSFER FACILITY

A multi-level parking structure will be located near Holland and Grand to provide a 1240 space commuter parking facility for students, faculty, staff, and visitors using the Missouri State shuttle system. This structure will be operational during the Spring 2006 semester affording proximate parking for classes on the south side of campus and for special events needing additional parking.

WILLIAM H. DARR AGRICULTURAL CENTER (Not Shown)
The William H. Darr Agricultural Center, located southwest of the Springfield Campus, will be expanded to provide additional educational opportunities for the University�s School of Agricultural Sciences. Included in the project is the addition of a stalling barn, large animal lab, arena improvements and addition and major infrastructure improvements.

JORDAN VALLEY INNOVATION CENTER (JVIC)
The former Missouri Farmer�s Association milling facility was acquired from the City of Springfield to be transformed into a collaborative research center focused on nano-technology and bio research. The JVIC facility will be renovated using federal grant funds to accommodate research space requirements of public and private tenant organizations. Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2006.

FACILITY REUTILIZATION PROGRAM - PHASE I
Existing campus facilities will be partially renovated to accommodate departmental academic and administrative requirements and enhance their programmatic mission. The three-phase FREUP program also contributes to the University�s goal of consolidating colleges geographically.

OZARKS PUBLIC HEALTH INSTITUTE (OPHI)
This new facility, located on the west mall between Kemper Hall and Glass Hall, will provide a focal point for addressing public health issues of importance to the Ozarks through collaboration with business, community, education and government organizations. The colleges of Health and Human Services and Natural and Applied Sciences will both have facilities within this complex.

McDONALD HALL & ARENA RENOVATION/ADDITION
This facility will be renovated to comply with standards for an adequate learning environment and to create enhanced educational areas for health, physical education and recreation programs. The building�s structure and support systems will be rehabilitated for the first time since the 1940�s. The addition will satisfy increased space requirements for expanding program needs in health, physical education and recreation.
